Reports To: IT Project Manager or Director of IT Integration
Job Summary:
The IT Analyst plays a critical role in supporting IT systems integration, data analysis, and the optimization of technology processes during M&A activities. This position requires a strong analytical skillset and the ability to assess and recommend IT solutions that align with business objectives. The IT Analyst works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that IT operations are seamlessly integrated and optimized post-acquisition, driving efficiency and alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Integration Support: Assist in the assessment, configuration, and integration of IT systems from acquired entities, ensuring compatibility and alignment with the existing infrastructure.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret IT and operational data to identify trends, integration needs, and optimization opportunities, providing insights to support decision-making.
Solution Evaluation & Recommendations: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to evaluate IT solutions, propose improvements, and recommend technology adjustments to meet business objectives.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations within the integrated environment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with departments such as Operations, Finance, and HR to understand their integration needs and ensure that IT solutions meet cross-functional requirements.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create detailed documentation on IT systems, processes, and configurations, facilitating knowledge transfer and smooth transitions for ongoing support.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Provide support for IT issues that arise during integration, working to resolve technical challenges to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in IT analysis, systems integration, or related roles, with exposure to M&A activities preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization tools).
Understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, along with basic networking and cybersecurity principles.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
