Reports To: IT Project Manager or Director of ERP Integration
Job Summary:
The ERP Integration Consultant is responsible for assisting with the integration of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems during M&A activities, ensuring that financial, supply chain, and operational processes are unified across the merged organization. This role requires deep expertise in ERP systems and experience in managing ERP integrations to drive consistency, efficiency, and alignment with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP migrations or integrations, especially within the context of M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Integration Planning & Execution: Develop and implement ERP integration plans, coordinating system configuration, data migration, and process standardization across financial, supply chain, and operational functions.
System Assessment & Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough assessments of existing ERP systems in both companies, identify key integration requirements, and define project scope based on business needs.
Data Migration & Mapping: Oversee data migration from legacy systems to the target ERP platform, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compatibility throughout the process.
Process Standardization & Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize processes across financial, supply chain, and operations functions within the ERP framework.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT teams to ensure ERP configurations meet business requirements and integration goals.
Change Management Support: Support change management efforts by training end-users, creating documentation, and providing ongoing support to facilitate adoption of the integrated ERP system.
Compliance & Security Assurance: Ensure that ERP integration processes adhere to regulatory and compliance standards, and that data privacy and security protocols are maintained.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, Accounting, or a related field (ERP certifications preferred, e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
5-7 years of experience in ERP implementation, integration, or consulting, ideally within M&A or corporate integration projects.
Deep knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and experience with data migration, mapping, and process integration.
Strong understanding of finance, supply chain, and operational processes within ERP environments.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
